An opera on love, adventure, and magic
Alia Musica performs the US premiere (and the World premiere in English) of La Mare deis Peixos (“The Mother of Fishes”), an opera by Roger Dannenberg and Jorge Sastre. With a libretto based on the beloved Valencian folktale of how a magical fish changes a family's fortunes, the score includes soloists, a women’s choir, electronic elements, and more.
